Fiscal Policy in Germany

Fiscal policy is an important tool used by governments to influence the economy, and Germany is a good example of a country that effectively utilizes various methods of fiscal policy to promote economic growth and manage economic challenges. The German government has implemented a constitutional rule known as the debt brake, which limits government borrowing and supports the country's GDP. Additionally, the investment offensive promotes public and private investment in infrastructure and other sectors, which helps to create jobs and stimulate economic growth. Furthermore, the temporary reduction in VAT rates during the COVID-19 pandemic was a measure taken by the German government to boost consumer spending and support the economy during a challenging time.

FOXP2 Explained

Our story begins in Britain in 1990. Sixteen members of a large, three-generational family, known by scientists as KE, exhibited severe orofacial dyspraxia, a condition that affects movement and coordination. Their speech was at times unintelligible, and they exhibited deficits in morphological production, struggling to inflect words for the simple past tense and the plural (Watkins, 2011). They were treated by a genetics clinic, and their story quickly attracted the attention of researchers. Hurst and colleagues (1990) established that dyspraxia was inherited – as opposed to derived from environmental factors – possibly even Mendelian, and outlined the case histories. Adding to the mystery, the researchers noted that intelligence and hearing were all normal.

Mitigating Climate Change: Powering a Net-Zero Future through Renewable Energy

Climate Change is Real— the sooner we realize it, the better our chances are of ensuring a better tomorrow for our forthcoming generations. Although, experts suggest many potential methods for mitigating Climate Change and its branching effects. Renewable or Non-Fossil Energy is one of the most prominent ways that promise a healthier tomorrow. So much so that “A Transition to Clean Energy,” Gloria Reuben admits, “is about making an investment in the future.”

How Internships Affect Student Mental Health

The question of how internships affect student mental health is in reasonable judgment a meaningful one. Often used by students to gain curricular credit in a major course of study, these experiences can be unpaid, although some paid ones also exist. Considering that income is a key social determinant of health, the question of how internships (especially unpaid ones) are connected to internships is one that can and should be answered.

Why is the Nordic Region so Happy?

Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Iceland. They are among some of the coldest countries in the world, so it is a wonder that these nations host some of the happiest people. Why is this? Diamonds and Mining are NOT a girl’s best friend!

Engaging in a dialogue about gender and economics is not intuitive. Especially, when the main understanding of the economy is based on the global free market, production, and the idea of meritocracy, which leads us to think that this dialogue would be limited to subjects such as equal opportunities between women and men and/or parity; and would leave aside other gendered and economic relationships of domination that are more discrete, normalized, and violent, such as gendered socialization and imposed gender roles. However, the recent resurgence of socio-economic and gender inequalities, and how they are interwoven, has made a deeper exchange necessary. We observe the emergence of an intersectional reflection in both economic and gender terms, which challenges the unequal distribution of wealth, natural resources, and the sexual division of labor.
